Introducing Lystcode — Our New AI‑Focused IDE

2026-03-16

We are launching Lystcode, a simple, AI‑focused IDE you fully control. Right now we ship native binaries for Linux; on macOS and Windows you can build it yourself from source at https://gitlab.com/Openlyst/Lystcode Lystcode speaks Gemini, Codex, Cursor, Kimi, and Copilot — all via local CLIs, not hosted APIs, so you use your own subscriptions instead of paying us for API markup. The app is completely free and FOSS under the MIT license, which is different from our usual AGPL.

GitHub Access Revoked — Again. We're Building Our Own Infrastructure.

2026-02-21

We have once again been banned from GitHub. We are deeply disappointed in GitHub's continued hostile and arbitrary enforcement, which has repeatedly disrupted our ability to serve our users. We do not find their conduct acceptable. Downloads will be unavailable for a period while we address this. Rather than remain dependent on a platform that has proven unreliable and adversarial, we are building our own infrastructure so we can deliver our apps without being at the mercy of third-party gatekeepers. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience.
